12 Daily Affirmations For Christian Leaders

1. I am uniquely created by God for a specific purpose.

God created only one model with my exact DNA. He specifically selected my parents, siblings, race, nationality, mental capacity, physical features and time in history. Like any responsible artist, architect, designer or inventor, God certainly had a precise purpose in mind before He went to all the trouble assembling me.

2. I use Jesus Christ as my role model.

I, like Jesus, want to do nothing from myself, independently, of my own accord, but only as I am taught by God and get His orders. Even as I hear, I judge; and my judgment is just and right because I refuse to seek to consult my own will [my own aim, my own purpose], but only the will and pleasure of the Father who sent me. (John 5:30 AMP)

3. I live each day in the awareness that there is time to do everything God wants me to do.

There is not time to do everything; there is not time to do everything good or everything everyone else wants me to do; and there is definitely not time to do everything that "I" want to do. But there is time to do everything that God is asking me to do today.

4. I acknowledge that God is providing everything and everyone required for me to fulfill His purposes in my life.

Money, manpower and the means-necessary are provided (or withheld) to help me understand His direction and plan for my life. When finances are tight, I make different decisions than I would have if money was flowing. I receive this as God's method of helping me know what to do when.

5. I recognize that every encounter is God's providence versus mere happenstance.

God Himself is ordering my life: I enjoy blessings, not luck. My fate is not up for grabs but is secure in Christ. My coincidences are really God-incidents. I am led by God, not circumstances. Instead, God will use every situation to help me understand His activity in my life, if I will recognize His desire to do so.

6. I REFUSE to focus on negatives in myself, in others or in my circumstances.

I routinely analyze all negative influences in my life for object lessons and quickly run them the painful portions of each to the foot of the cross. I then visualize myself joining Christ on the cross, and there, through His power in me, I look at my offender (even if it is myself) and say, "Father, I forgive them. They don't even know how badly they have hurt me." Then, crawling down again, I move in a resurrected fashion through life, ready to extend God's forgiveness to every offender (even if they do not yet realize their offenses).

7. I feed on God's Word.

I have verse cards in my pockets, car, kitchen, desk drawer and on my mirror. My thoughts return to my current memory verse frequently as I meditate on the Bread of Life.

8. I breathe the air of prayer.

I pray frequently, and without ceasing. I can go a few days without water and a few weeks without food, but I cannot survive ten minutes without oxygen. Like a dolphin surfacing for air, I must frequently burst through the clouds of life into the Sonshine of God, through prayer, or I will begin to suffocate spiritually (defined: stress).

9. I take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

My alarm system goes off at the earliest signs of "self" sins including self-centeredness, self-indulgence, self-righteousness, and the mother of them all, self-pity. I trust God to show me all wrong thoughts, after which I give them to Christ, as if they were prisoners of war with which He must deal.

10. I praise God through every situation. No exceptions.

Everything that comes into my life, Satan wants to use to destroy me; but everything that comes into my life, God wants to use for my good. I refuse to wallow in disappointment, despair or self-pity, choosing instead to partner with God for His best in my life by moving immediately to praise. (Praising God through a devastating situation is called "the sacrifice of praise".)

11. I follow the Leader, doing every NEXT STEP that God ordains for me.

It is impossible for God to take me from the comfort of my current position into the glory of battles won without first working me through boot camp. I recognize that every obstacle, set-back, disappointment and challenge are God-ordained as training tools to prepare me for my destiny in Christ. I receive them with joy and push through with determined faith and hope.

12. I resolve to be patient with His process - as I firmly believe that all the events of my life are interactive.

I trust God more than I trust a physician, who would readily cut me open rather than see me die. I trust God more than I trust a professor, who would willingly inflict a painful score on me rather than watch me miss the knowledge I'd need to succeed. I trust God more than I trust an employer, whose regular paychecks appear to sustain me. I trust God, no matter what!

Make Your Car Donation Count

While many organizations will be happy to accept your donation of a car, few can say that your car donation will feed homeless children in America. When you make your car donation to a USA charity that helps children, you know your donation will make a difference.

Between five hundred thousand and two million children in the United States are homeless at some time during year. While definitive statistics are lacking, experts who study homelessness and children's welfare find that homelessness among children is increasing in rural and in urban areas of the United States. These new homeless children and their mothers are likely to be suffering financially because of job loss, domestic violence, high housing costs, decreased government and social supports, and economic recession.

Homelessness impacts the health of children. Being exposed to the elements and lacking clean and safe sleeping and eating quarters, they are subject to a variety of illnesses. Common health issues among homeless children include respiratory tract infections, skin ailments, asthma, digestive problems, pregnancy, and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). According to the National Child Traumatic Stress Network, homeless children are sick at twice the rate of other children.

And it's not just their physical health that suffers. Their homelessness puts them in situations where they are likely to be traumatized by being victims of violence and by witnessing violence. More than one-fifth of homeless preschoolers have serious emotional problems. Homeless children are twice as likely to repeat a school grade as are other children. Homeless children have twice the rate of learning disabilities as non-homeless children. All too often homeless youth earn their living through pornography, prostitution, or the illegal drug trade-the only avenues available to them for making money.

Over one in fifty children in the United States are homeless for at least some part of the year. Everyone wants to help children, and homeless children are certainly in need of help. But donating money to charity is difficult these days, as many people are struggling financially. Car donations give people who want to help a way to do it. Rather than sending a clunker to the junkyard or accepting bottom dollar on a trade in, people who want to help homeless children can donate their vehicles to worthwhile charities. When they donate their car to charity they get the satisfaction of knowing they are helping and they get a tax deduction for their charitable contribution.

It's very easy to donate a vehicle. Most charities that accept car donations also take trucks, motorcycles, RVs, and vans. Some even accept boats and trailers. Many organizations can arrange for free pickup or towing, depending where the car is. The vehicle does not even have to be in working order. The charity will sell the vehicle and use the proceeds to fund charitable programs.

Without taking any money from their pockets, people who want to help homeless children can make a difference by donating their vehicles to charity. It's a great way to lend a hand without emptying your pockets.

Teleclasses, Teleseminars, Webinars: New Ways to Stay in Touch and Learn

Thanks to modern technology, people have more ways than ever to stay in touch with each other and to continue learning in the comfort of their own home. There are many ways to communicate with others, and as the technology continues to advance, even more effective ways will be developed.

One of the earliest advances was the chat room, which allows people to talk to each other via their keyboards, but not verbally. The conversation is in real time, and many people can participate at the same time.

Programs for making free telephone calls over the Internet to anyone else who also has the program are gaining in popularity as the calls become clearer. However, concerns about legal issues (with challenges to its intellectual property), traffic security, and political concerns by governments who want control over their telecommunications systems, keep many from using the service.

A popular Internet teaching venue is the recorded teleseminar, which is made available to interested viewers via an MP3 download or by clicking on a button on a website and then viewing the presentation online. Viewers don't get to participate during the session, but they can listen to the information as often as they like, at their own convenience.

Instructors also use teleclasses to teach their students. They're similar to teleseminars, but normally involve fewer participants, and since the audio portion of the presentation is an open line, everyone involved can hear everyone else. This allows unlimited interaction between the instructor and participants.

Teleconferencing is also popular, although there is no visual component, since the presentation is done over the telephone. However, everyone can hear everyone else, so there is still lots of room for interaction and discussion between participants. Teleconferences work well for small groups, but can get somewhat unwieldy as more participants join the conversation.

Teleseminars are similar to teleconferences, especially in that only audio is used to convey a presentation over the phone, but differs in that one the presenter or a guest speaker can be heard throughout the presentation. The advantage to teleseminars is that hundreds of people can listen in at the same time, and since the background noise from all those phones is muted, the presenter's message is clearly audible to everyone. Often, the host will open the lines to take questions.

The next step up the ladder is video conferencing, in which participants can see the presenter on screen as the presentation is being made. Being able to see the presenter has many advantages, allowing for the use of charts and other visual elements to be incorporated into the event. If the group is small, many video conferences are two-way, with cameras on both ends of the line, so the presenter can also see the participants. This can be a very effective way to communicate over long distances, but the video quality is often below average and can be too expensive for some organizations to purchase.

Finally, there's a fairly recent technological advance called a webinar, which is a hybrid of several of the techniques discussed earlier. Webinars allow both audio and visual communication between presenter and participants, either by means of the telephone or via webstreaming. The video is delivered by computer, which means that the presenter is given more options, including PowerPoint presentations. Since there's real time audio and visual communication, webinars allow the most comprehensive interaction between participants and presenters.

It's a whole new world out there, but as technology continues to advance, people will be able to communicate more effectively over long distances than ever before.

Acne Scars and Their Treatment

For many people, the embarrassing effects of acne are not temporary. Scarring can leave people with the after-effects of acne for their entire lives. But now, thanks to many technological and medical advances, there is hope for those who suffer from acne scarring.

Thanks to a classification released in 2001, people can now identify which type of scarring they suffer from. Once the scarring is recognized, individuals can then seek specific treatment for their scars.

Rolling Scars - This scarring occurs when the subcutaneous tissue below the surface of the skin becomes tethered. The way to treat this type of scarring is by breaking up the subcutaneous fibrous bands.

Boxcar Scars - These oval-to-round shaped scars have sharp vertical edges. The deeper scars will require full-thickness skin treatment while shallower scars can be treated with skin resurfacing techniques.

Ice Pick Scars - These narrow, sharp scars give the appearance that the skin has been repeatedly punctured by a sharp tool. With this type of scarring, laser resurfacing or dermabrasion are usually the only forms of effective treatment.

Once the classification of scarring is determined, specific treatments should be sought:

Dermal Fillers - Injections into the skin cause the skin of the scars rise, giving your face a more even look. Common fillers include: fat, human collagen, and bovine collagen. This is a temporary solution and will need to be repeated.

Subcutaneous Incision - This procedure is used to break up rolling scars. A needle is used to go underneath the skin and cut the tethering bands. This can cause bruising for up to a week.

Laser Resurfacing - A popular treatment for many skin defects. A laser is used to essentially burn the top layer of skin to a certain depth. As the skin heals, it replaces the burned layer of skin with a fresh layer.

NBA Video Clips - A New Way to Get Your Basketball Movie Fix

Just the other day I was doing my usual rounds on Metacafe.com when I came across a video clip of Michael Jordan's 10 best dunks of all time. For those of you that aren't familiar with Metacafe.com, it is basically just a video posting site like YouTube, where users can upload their own videos and view other people's movie submissions.

The link was entitled VideoFarts.com, and when I clicked on it I was taken to an odd-looking site that had a funny picture of George Bush that greeted you with the message: "The best videos on the face of the planet." This greeting intrigued me so I decided to stay around and check out the site.

To my exquisite surprise, I found a section for 'Basketball Video Clips', and I was actually pretty impressed with all the video clips the blogger had posted. It wasn't that he had better NBA video clips than what I could find on YouTube or Metacafe, but rather that I couldn't find any crappy clips.

Therein lies the value of this blogger's site; He did all the legwork for me, and now I don't have to sit there and be subjected to video clips that just plain suck. For those of you that are regular users of YouTube, GoogleVideo, and Metacafe, you know that for every good video clip out there, there is a really bad one that is waiting for you to select it so it can waste your time.

There are quite a few video review blogs out there, but none that cater just to Basketball Video clips; so if you are into watching the coolest, newest basketball movies on the planet, I suggest you head on over to VideoFarts.com, where you will find a nice selection of very entertaining basketball clips.

In case you are interested here's a link over to the site's basketball video clips section. Videofarts.com also has about 12 different other categories of sports clips to choose from including soccer video clips.

Farmers Around the World Should Be Encouraged to Use Biopesticides in Agriculture

Farmers and growers have always used some natural methods to both deal with plant pests and diseases as well as to strengthen the soil.

After all, what is compost but decomposing vegetable matter which is then put back into the soil to improve its richness, fibre content and the nutirents plants need for growth.

Plant extracts were arguably the earliest agricultural biopesticides, as history records that nicotine was used to control plum beetles as early as the 17th century. There were also experiments using mineral oils as plant protectants in the 19th century.

Biopseticides most frequently used on specialty crops like specific fruits. A 2006 study estimated that orchard crops had the highest rate of biopesticide use at 55%.

Biopesticides are derived from natural materials like animals, plants, bacteria, and certain minerals. Plants like mint, neem, papaya and garlic as well as baking soda have applications as pesticides and are considered to be biopesticides.

It was after the 1960s that modern biopesticides research really took off following a change of attitude to chemical-based pesticides that were widely used during the 1960s and 70s and the attitude change is often attributed to Silent Spring, a book by American naturalist Rachel Carson.

The book the severe effects of organochlorines on humans and the environment; the book triggered the environmental movement and also led to subsequent bans on organochlorine pesticides.

Dave Moore, senior researcher in invasive pest management at the Centre for Agricultural Bioscience International (CABI; Oxford, UK) suggests that more and more organic farming is embracing biopesticides, especially in the developing countries of Africa and newly-industrialised emerging economies like China and India.

He said: "In many parts of the world biopesticides are accepted easily, where available, and are seen as totally compatible with organic."

In India, for example, anyone cultivating vegetables in a residential area is required to use only biopesticides. The Asian and Australasian market for microbial- and nematode-based pesticides is estimated to be worth approximately $132.5 million per annum and has grown by 35.7% since 2004.China, India and Japan are thought to be the three largest markets in the region, and most of the products used have been researched and developed locally.

In Europe the estimated market share is 26.7% and again is projected to grow. The most widespread use of biopesticides is in the US.

One of the main difficulties in promoting wider use of biopesticides and other low-chem agricultural products is that they tend to be geographically limited in use and locally-specific in their effects on pests, viruses or fungi.

This makes them costly to research and produce, apart from the costs and time involved in getting them through the trial and registration process, while at the same time limiting the market in which they can be sold.

There is now a growing body of evidence that they are better for the environment, the land and for growing healthy, natural food free of chemical residues and that they have the potential to contribute to reduced damage of the soil as well as reducing the widespread incidence of hunger in less developed parts of the world.

If they can be made available affordably to the hundreds of thousands of small-scale farmers in the developing world they will help them to farm sustainably, increasing their yields without damaging and depleting the land, and to earn a better income from their efforts.

University of Florida Apartments - Looking For Apartments in Gainesville

Gainesville, Florida, is home to the University of Florida, and is one of the most popular college towns in the nation. Whether you are just getting out of high school and looking forward to being a new Gator, or if you're a returning student who is looking for an apartment as an upgrade over your dorm room, there are options in Gainesville to find the perfect location for you to live.

There are many different choices for Florida students, an example of two different University of Florida apartment choices among students are Windsor Hall and the Courtyards student suites. These 2 apartments are highlighted as examples for housing near UF, this is not an endorsement for University of Florida students.

The Courtyards are located right across the street from the main University of Florida campus and is within walking distance to almost any place students need to go, including libraries, classes, football games, popular hang-outs, and even restaurants. Many students consider the Courtyards a great alternative to the normal University of Florida dorm settings. In the Courtyards students don't have to share their rooms with other students, but each student gets their own private bedroom suite while sharing a common area with other UF students.

Every University of Florida Apartment in the Courtyards has a shared living room, kitchen, and even a dining room. All of these apartments are fully furnished, meaning the student doesn't need to bring their own furniture. Even when the student moves in, the utilities, cable, and interrnet are all already turned on. These apartments still provide students the perfect place to socialize that allow students to fully experience college life while giving them the privacy and independence that only an apartment can provide.

Windsor Hall is another very popular choice among UF students looking for a good University of Florida apartment. Windsor Hall has one section of apartments that is solely female, while the other side is coed. These are considered "luxury" apartments compared to the other student apartments on campus, and are often reported by other students as being very reasonably priced compared to the other student apartment options.

If you can't get an apartment on the University of Florida campus, there's no reason to despair. Florida, even more than many other universities, is absolutely surrounded by apartments in every direction, all of them very close by. The apartments' rental fees can vary enormously, but there are literally dozens upon dozens of apartments within walking distance of campus that give University of Florida students all the choices they could want.

So if you're a student looking for a University of Florida apartment, keep in mind that you have a huge number of options both on and off the actual campus.

All About Your Ticket to Canadian Immigration

Having one of the wealthiest economies in the world, favourable education and quality of life, as well as government transparency, Canada is considered to be one of the best places in which to live. Since 1994, the country has ranked as one of the top ten places to live in the world according to the United Nations and the Economist Intelligence Unit because of its high marks including high standards of education, high life expectancy, low crime and violence rate.

Due to its booming economy, the upturn of better opportunities in the country is expected in the coming years as well. With this situation, Canada needs workers with required skill-sets and necessary work experience in his/her chosen field of expertise.

With the country's diversity, abundance, economic stability, and natural beauty, Canada has become one of the favourite destinations for immigration. A lot of people are interested to work in the country or even consider obtaining permanent residency either to earn higher education or find greener pasture.

Although the country welcomes about 10,000 foreign workers each year to fill in demands for professional workforce, moving into the country and becoming a permanent resident to have excellent opportunities are sometimes also accompanied with significant challenges.

Apart from its hard to resist lucrative openings, however, Canada also offers various programs under which an aspiring immigrant may qualify as a permanent resident of the country.

Different Options to Apply for Canadian Immigration

Skilled Workers (Professionals) - Refer to individuals who can be economically established based on their abilities, including level of education, English and/or French speaking capability, work experience, age, arranged employment, adaptability, and enough money to support them and their dependents after arriving in the country.

Provincial Nomination Programs - Provinces are allowed to nominate individuals who are interested to settle in a particular place based on the specific needs of the region and be able to effectively contribute to the community. This will speed up your application for permanent residency, although each Canadian province has its own distinctive Provincial Nomination Program.

Business Permanent Residency - This is best suited for aspiring entrepreneurs who would like to invest money in a country like Canada, which has low debt, low unemployment rate, and strong financial system because the country in return for this investment is offering permanent residency.

Family Class Sponsorship - Through sponsorship a relative, as described by the Canadian Immigration, wishing to migrate to Canada may be eligible for permanent residency in the country provided that both sponsor and relative- applicant meet the requirements set by the country.

Canadian Experience Class - This is ideal for temporary foreign workers or foreign students who graduated in Canada. Applying for permanent residency in the country will be easy if the applicant is qualified according to the requirements issued by the government for a successful transition.

Even though the country opened its door to new immigrants, its selection criteria have been established and strictly followed to appeal to those who are more highly skilled with a broader range of professional skills to maintain or even improve Canada's present stability.

Water Conservation; Most Carwashes Do Not Recycle Their Water It is a Myth

Most carwash customers believe that car washes recycle their water but industry surveys actually show that 67.5% of the car washes do not recycle their water and all. The same survey showed that 20% recycled or water only in the washing stage. But if they are using recycled water in the washing stage then they are taking dirty water mixing it with bright colored soaps so you cannot tell and then washing your car with dirty recycled water. That doesn't sound very good to me, how about you?

The carwash industry has done a very good job with public relations and many people think that they recycle their water and are water conserving, but if 67.5% do not recycle the water then perhaps they have done a really good public relations job but they are not protecting us during the drought.

It is interesting that the public relations for car washes has done a good job on water conservation, but rather a dismal job with the fact that many hire illegal aliens. We should not let industries get away with trickery when it comes to something so important as our natural resources for water.

There had been “60 Minute” shows on the reality of the “hot wax soaps” and about employees stealing out of customers cars. Lou Dobbs did a special on the hiring practices of illegal aliens. But so far nobody is talking about the reality of the water recycling programs at car washes.

So, I thought it would bring it up now. Everyone must save water it is a vital resource in that includes the carwash industry and they should not be let off the hook that easily. Please consider this in 2006.

Enterprise Car Rentals

People mainly need a rental car for vacation or business. Enterprise rental rentals are cheap source for those who need a car on rent. Enterprise Rental Car is a massive worldwide operation.

Enterprise was founded with a simple mission. First, they actually started a whole new area of the rental car market instead of renting cars to folks on vacation like Alamo or on business trips. Enterprise rent a car specializes in renting to people who need a temporary replacement car or a vehicle for a special occasion. This is called long term rentals or replacement rentals.

Enterprise constructs their branches near you that suit your needs. Enterprise has a branch within 15 miles of 90 percent of the U.S. population. Enterprise's entire business is based on customer service and hiring employees that are dedicated to delivering a great customer experience. It offers many discounts and an easy rental procedure. You can also find excellent discounts by searching online.

Enterprise has a very different management philosophy. They started a one-shop rental car company for their customers and employees without caring about profits. The whole business is based on customer service and hiring employees that are dedicated to delivering a great customer experience. Career advancement is attached not only to fleet growth, profitability and employee development but also to quality customer service.

As Enterprise's employees go up within the system, the company's growth drives their financial rewards and continues to attract more top talent.

Force in Modern Physics

We are all pretty sure we know what force is. Gravity, for instance, is a force and gravity needs no further explanation. Newon was the first scientist to state the law of gravity in mathematical terms and for many years we thought that this was the final answer to what the law of gravity really is. Then cam Einstein, who found that Newton's law was only a good first approximation. Einstein's relativity concepts gave us a more accurate computation, which has been proved many times to give the correct answers for orbital and space trajectories.

By this time, therefore, we should feel reasonably certain that at least we know the answer to how gravity affects massive bodies, so that we can predict any result. It seems, however, that nature still has a trick or two up its sleeve. Back in the early 1970s, two Pioneer spacecraft were sent to take a close look at Jupiter and Saturn. After that mission was completed, they then went on into the outer solar system. Soon after wards, it was noticed that their velocities deviated from those predicted by Einstein. They were slower than they should have been, by some 5000 kms. per year. It seemed as though an unknown force, emanating from the sun, slowed them down. To add to the mystery, another anomaly was discovered with several spacecraft when they were sent round the earth in what is called a slingshot maneuver, to pick up speed before going on to various space missions. This time, they picked up more speed than they should have, only four millimeters per second, but easily measured. Of course, in both cases, all sorts of precautions were taken to eliminate errors due to faulty instruments, inaccurate measurements or any other extraneous factors that would have allowed existing theories to remain intact. It seems that we might need another bored young patent clerk doodling on a piece of paper, another Einstein to astound us by finally explaining a very enduring mystery.

And this would just be the mathematics that predicts motions of bodies under the influence of gravity. It would not explain what a force such as gravity actually is, or how it is transmitted. When we see a body falling to the ground under the influence of gravity, what we see is the body, not the force. What exactly is this thing, this something that has all matter in its grip in the entire universe? What did Newton have to say about this? After all, he studied this force all his life, surely he must have known what it was! We can turn for enlightenment to his first law, as given in the Principia Mathematica: "Every body continues in its state of rest or of uniform motion in a right line, unless it is compelled to change that state by a force impressed on it." In order to find out what Newton meant by "impressed force" , his Definitions must be consulted. Definition IV states: "An impressed force is an action exerted on a body in order to change its state, either of rest or of uniform motion in a straight line." Here, the definition is saying exactly the same thing (only the other way round) as the law itself. But the law should have been the result of repeated observations, confirmed and proved by experiments, as laid down by Galileo, not a restatement of the definition. It is clear that the difficulty lies with the definition, not the law. It tries to define what a force is by describing its effect on a body.

Before Newton, many thinkers had tried to define what gravity actually was, from magnetism to circular inertia to Kepler's idea of sweeping, broom-like arms from the sun and Descartes' vortices in a universal ether. Newton avoided this entire quicksand of speculation by concentrating on finding a mathematically expressed law that would fit the observed facts. But this did not enable him to answer two crucial questions: what was gravity (or any other force) and how (or in what medium) was this force transmitted? Newton was especially puzzled by the latter question. If the earth and the other planets are made to go round the sun by the force of gravity, what transmits this force? There is no physical transmitter between the bodies of the sun and the earth. During his entire life, Newton could find no satisfactory solution to this problem of action-at-a-distance. Einstein, in his treatment of gravity in the general theory of relativity, included a fourth dimension in his explanation of how the force of gravity functions. Put very briefly, he suggested that the earth's motion in this four-dimensional continuum was actually in a straight line. In our world of three space dimensions, this motion appears to be curved.

When quantum mechanics was developed quanta, or discrete particles, became involved in everything, even in forces. Quantum theory is very careful not to say that the force of gravity (for instance) consists of its particles, the graviton: it merely suggests that this force is transmitted by the particles. These are weightless and must be imagined as a constant stream between two bodies under gravitational attraction, going at no more than the speed of light.

The concept of force particles is more complex than these comments have suggested. For example, force particles are considered to be "virtual" particles, because they cannot be detected directly by a particle detector, as against "real" particles which can. However, theory indicates that gravitons, for example, can also exist in the "real" form - in which case they must be thought of as waves. Gravitational waves are so weak, however, that they have never yet been detected.

All this will show that even today, we have very little idea of what a force actually is and even its transmission is subject to a lively debate. Further discussion of this subject may be found in Galileo's Shadow, including the way the Higgs Field concept can be brought to bear on the controversy of what a force actually is.

Oral Contraceptive Pills - Information on Major Brands

Oral contraception, as the name suggests, is a birth control method used by women not planning to have a baby. These pills are also known as birth control pills and should be taken daily, as prescribed by a doctor.

Daily oral contraception pills are different from emergency contraception. The latter is used by women in case of emergency situations such as - forgetting to use a condom, condom breakage or sexual assault. Emergency contraception can be used after unprotected sexual intercourse to prevent a pregnancy. The most common form of emergency contraception are contraceptive pills, popularly known as morning after pills. Though the name suggests otherwise, these pills can be taken up to 72 hours after unprotected sexual intercourse. You should not confuse these pills with abortion pills. Emergency contraceptive pills do not harm the foetus.

The best way to prevent a pregnancy is abstinence from sex and if you are planning a pregnancy, you should stop taking contraceptive pills. These pills are of two types, one containing progestin while others have estrogen. More than 25 brands of contraceptive pills are available on the market today. Let us have a look at a few effective daily contraceptive pills.

Yasmin

This drug contains ethinyl estradiol and norethindrone. This combination of the female hormones prevent the release of an egg from the ovary.

Cerazette

Cerazette tablets are also known as the mini pills or progestogen only pills. They work by changing the quality of the womb lining and make it difficult for sperm to reach the womb.

Millions of women use these pills to prevent pregnancy daily after unprotected sexual intercourse. While these pills are effective in preventing an unwanted pregnancy, they do not protect you against sexually transmitted diseases.

You can see good results only if you take these pills as prescribed. Take them on a regular basis, even when you are having your periods. Most of these pills thicken the lining of the womb, making it difficult for sperm to reach the womb and this makes fertilization of eggs less likely.

It is important to use birth control methods such as condoms or spermicides even if you are using these pills. These medications are known to cause birth defects and so, if you are pregnant, you should not use them. Wait for at least 4 weeks after you have a baby before you start using these drugs.

Spring-Based Airsoft Replicas

Airsoft guns were origins of the created in the 1970s in order to simulate the actual look and feel of the original, is it because in Asian countries owning a real firearm was illegal. This type of gun has evolved over time and several improvements and fired mechanisms have been added in order to provide a more realistic experience.

According to the fire mechanism airsoft replicas can be classified as electric, gas powered or spring. Today we're going to focus of the features of guns with Spring-based fire mechanisms. With those which use springs in order to accelerate a projectile are often referred to as the first generation of airsoft weapons, this mechanism is very simple but have the downside of almost never been being semi auto and never automatic, so using this type of airsoft gun on a real battle simulation may not be the best choice.

The second generation of weapons has a gas-based fire mechanism but because of the complexity of it the prices tend to be higher when compared with those weapons which use springs.

Today we can find almost any type of airsoft replicas that use Spring-based mechanisms, some of the models are:

-- The M30P which has a scope, a silencer and a laser -- The P813A1 that works at 250 fps has a very realistic finish which includes a blue eliminator, laser, scope and a silencer. -- The M280 is an incredible replica that works at 200 fps and uses 6 mm BBs -- The M1481 also referred to as the Black Panther works at 150 fps and is an 8 inch pistol

Most airsoft guns are made of ABS plastic but there are others that feature actual metal in order to re-create the real look and feel of the weapon they were intended to resemble.

Regardless of the model that you choose it is important to remember that the first generation is based on springs, this system can effectively lowered the price on expensive replicas that may be even more expensive according to their shooting mechanism.
